Classes

Level 1, 2 and 3 classes and private tuition in Chi Gong, in Hobart or Online.

Classes for all abilities catered for. Choose from easy beginner classes, medium difficulty classes, and more advanced level classes for experienced practitioners. Also offering private tuition for enhanced and tailored learning.

Level 1 – Gentle Flow Class

Every Saturday at 9am

Ideal if you are just starting with Chi Gong and Flow Yoga or you feel you perhaps need an easy class after not doing much lately, or restarting after being unwell. This class will focus on gentle flowing moves which will give your body a gentle circulation boost and you will feel nourished and relaxed after. It will be an easy-to-follow class ideal after rest and recovery.

Level 1 - Gentle Flow Class

Level 2 – Medium Class

Over 10 weeks. A cycle through all 5 Organ systems. (We will change the program every 2 weeks)

Every Tuesday and Friday 10am and Sunday 9am

This class has 3 components.

1. Warm up and stretching
2. Chi Gong practice with one or two practices depending of the complexity. Going deeper into one of the 5 organ system in more detail. Through plenty of repetitions you can master the moves on the body level, mind level and energy level. This will help you to increase your flow of energy and free up weakness and stiffness in muscles and joints. It will help to bring your body and mind in harmony with a deeper effect on healing and releasing blockages.
3. Floor stretches followed by relaxation.

Note:

This class is still on a medium level of difficulty. Every two weeks we will change at least the 2nd component, so we can move through all main organ systems in the 10-week period. After 10 weeks you will move on to the next set of a 10 weeks cycle which will include other movements regarding this organ system as there are many more ways of practice.

Level 2 - Medium Class

Level 3 – Advanced Class

Every Wednesday at 6pm.
This Level 3 is building on the Level 2 practices.
Challenge yourself to some advanced moves and stretches. In this class we will include more strength and balancing sequences. Mobility, flexibility and body & joint opening is one of the goals on this 3rd Level. Working with Chi Flow and increasing your energy level is another part we want to explore.

If you are unsure if this is for you, come along and see if it fits. I am sure we can have fun trying to achieve more challenging practices. With lots of repeats and a slow building of skills, it won’t be a giant leap to achieve the next level of Chi Gong.

Level 3 - Advanced Class

Private Tuition

Private lessons are often the best way to start a practice, or sharpen an already established one. They offer scheduling flexibility and give you and your teacher time to identify specific areas you would like to pursue. They are ideal if you have a specific health concern or a special learning situation; if you are less comfortable in a group setting; are new to the practice & process; or want a more personal interaction with your teacher. Many ongoing students schedule one or two private sessions each year to update their practice and unlock a challenging portion of the form.
